HYIP High Yield Investment Portfolios
High yield investment portfolios are large sums of money managed to make it’s investors better than average returns by investing in riskier investment vehicles. With the rise of the internet these have been available online and more and more are sprouting up. Investors with small amounts of cash can easily signup and invest their money, even with their credit cards, for returns that can range anywhere from 1-7% a day. I personally know people that have raked in very large sums of money using these programs. These programs have been deemed by some to be scams, which might be true, but there are payouts if you are willing to risk it. Some managers of HYIP sometimes take the money from new investors and give it to the original ones, this is called recycling. This way the original investors recieve money and tell others to join and in the end the HYIP mysteriously folds with everyone’s money never to be seen again! Although I know people that have made money using these programs I would not recommend it. Greed is used to suck people in and then these managers suck them dry. Watch out so that you don’t fall into some of these traps. I have heard of HYIP promising 500% returns every 3 months! With just 1000$ invested that would be 39 million in 2 years! BILL GATES WATCH OUT!
You can easily spot these fake HYIP but people’s greed keeps them coming. Never invest in any investment that you don’t understand or you’re not sure what it is. HYIP do not often disclose their investments to the investors but just show returns. What I found with these internet HYIP is that managers will not provide the names of their names at all, but what most investors look at is the returns their friends have said they received. Some of these portfolios have stolen billions of dollars from investors and still these managers get away with it. Watch yourselves out there! Even if you are receiving checks from these HYIPs today, how long could these ridiculous returns possibly last for?
